There's been some super cool stuff happening in Dynamics 365 and Power Platforms lately, and we're here to explore few of them! We're talking about all sorts of upgrades and tweaks that make everything run smoother and better than ever. So, let's take a deep dive into what's fresh and exciting in Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform! Let's go!

Create Sales Emails with Copilot:
This new feature is a game-changer for sales professionals! Instead of spending ages crafting lengthy emails or scheduling appointments.
Let's say you want to reach out to Maria Campbell to arrange a demo for our Dynamics CRM 365 products. You simply give Copilot the lowdown and It crafts a complete email for you. You can use it as is or tweak it to your liking. Bottom line: it's a massive time-saver!
Get a 360-degree view of your account with AI-generated account summary
This feature is a real game-changer for sales folks! Picture this: you've got a client account, and you need to know everything about it at a glance. Well, with this new feature, you get a 360-degree view of the account. You can see all the details, like how many opportunities, cases, and leads are linked to that account.
It's hitting General Availability in June 2024.

Share tables and apps as simple as sharing a Word document
Sharing records just got a whole lot simpler! No more messing around with creating new security roles or tweaking existing ones for users.
Now, all you have to do is hit the Share button, pick the user(s) you want to share with, and select the specific privileges you want to give them. Dataverse takes care of the rest! It automatically sets up security roles based on your access settings and assigns them to the chosen users. This streamlined process saves you time and hassle, letting you focus on what really matters.
Enhanced email attachment experience
Microsoft have rolled out a brand-new feature for handling attachments. Now, you can spruce up your email forms by adding this nifty Attachment control. And the best part? You can simply drag and drop your attachments right into the attachments subgrid.
It's a seamless way to manage your files and make your email workflow even smoother. Plus, with the option to replace the old attachment subgrid, you'll have a more modern and efficient way to handle attachments.
Formula column
Microsoft is phasing out the old calculated column and rolling in the new formula column. With this update, you can now leverage the power of Power FX to crunch numbers and calculate values directly within your tables. Think of it like using Excel formulas, but within your database!
We're diving deeper into this exciting new feature in our next blog post, so stay tuned for more insights and tips on how to make the most of it!
Multi-regarding Activity
Responding to customer demand, Microsoft has introduced a highly requested feature: the ability to relate one activity to multiple records. Initially, this feature is available exclusively for Email activities.
Within the Email entity, you'll notice a new related column where you can select multiple records. Once selected, the email will be displayed in the timeline of each of those records. This enhancement promises to streamline communication and make tracking interactions across multiple records much more efficient.
Set your preferred solution
Microsoft has recently revamped the standard process for handling customizations added outside of solutions. In the past, these customizations were automatically placed in the default solution. Now, users have the flexibility to set a preferred solution where all such customizations will be directed.
Here's how it works: Let's say you've designated a specific solution as your preferred one. When you add a customization, like a new table (let's call it "Client"), outside of any solution, it will automatically be included in your preferred solution. This streamlined approach ensures that all your customizations are neatly organized and tracked within your chosen solution.
Announcing preview for blocking unmanaged customizations
Microsoft has introduced a powerful new feature that allows you to block unmanaged customizations in your environments. This feature comes in handy especially when you're dealing with numerous unmanaged customizations in managed environments.
Here's how it works: You can enable or disable the "Block unmanaged customizations" feature from the Features area of the environment settings in the Power Platform admin center. By default, this setting is disabled, but you have the flexibility to turn it on as needed.
When this feature is enabled, users attempting to make changes in the environment will encounter an error. This ensures that any unauthorized or unmanaged customizations are blocked, helping you maintain better control and stability within your environment.
Microsoft has been on a roll with introducing new features lately, and we've been keeping a close eye on them. While there are plenty of exciting updates, there are a few gems that we believe stand out as particularly useful and impressive.
